I will overwhelm 'legitimate fighter' Paul - Joshua
The British boxer will face Jake Paul in an eight-round contest which will be streamed live on the streaming platform.
British boxer Joshua said he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "break" the American as the combatants met personally to publicize next month's heavyweight fight.
Ex two-time unified boxing king Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge disparity - at Miami's venue on December 19th.
Fighter's Attitude
"I will break his face and hurt his body. I aim to demonstrate my superiority," Joshua, 35, stated.
"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I will really want to hurt him. That's what I want to do."
Civil Interaction
Despite these statements, a relaxed Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - usually recognized for his dramatics - were respectful and maintained decorum with each other.
Jake Paul rather criticized former Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and called him "not serious" after the Cameroonian declined a fight offer.
Taking Aim at Fury
Joshua, at the same time, criticized UK opponent Fury - and refused a large bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] is superior to Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua said.
"I respect him for that."
Legitimate Opponent
In spite of declaring he will punish Paul, Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his opponent's boxing ability.
"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he said.
Jake Paul's Background
Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has primarily fought mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.
He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.
Commercial Attraction
Nevertheless, the novice continues to be one of boxing's greatest money-making draws, frequently receiving huge financial rewards.
Forecast and Belief
The 28 year old forecast a KO victory in round four or five and stated he would prevent the long-awaited Fury-Joshua bout, which is allegedly being planned for two years from now.
"It will be my match with Fury next year," Jake Paul declared.
Size Disparity
As the two fighters participated in the customary face-off, with their height and weight contrast evident, it drove home just how unlikely this entire matchup is - and how astonishing it is that the fight is truly happening.
