Kane marks his 100th goal for Bayern Munich
Harry Kane has revealed that his enthusiasm in coming back to the Premier League has lessened and he is open to discuss a new agreement with Bayern Munich.
The prolific striker is at the moment midway through the four-year deal he inked when transferring to from Tottenham Hotspur for 86.4 million pounds in the transfer window of 2023.
The veteran forward has netted an remarkable 103 goals in 106 matches for the German side, playing a key role in them win the 2024-25 Bundesliga title - which represented the initial important trophy of his distinguished career.
Tottenham boss Thomas Frank has previously stated that he would welcome to see Kane come back to England, where he lacks 48 goals to overtake Alan Shearer's record Premier League scoring feat of 260.
However, the England leader has now suggested that he is no longer as enthusiastic about returning home as he earlier was, and would seriously consider lengthening his stay in Bavaria.
"In terms of extending longer, I could certainly see that," he remarked.
"I spoke openly a couple of weeks ago that I have not had those discussions with Bayern yet, but if they were to come up I would be prepared to talk and have an frank conversation.
"Obviously it relies on how the next year or so progresses and what we achieve together. Right now, I would say we are in a superb moment and I am not focusing about anything else.
"In terms of the Premier League, I don't know. If you had inquired me when I first left to go to Bayern, I would have said for sure I would come back.
"Now I have been there a couple of years I would perhaps say that has decreased a little bit, but I wouldn't say I would never go back.
"What I have discovered in my career is that different chances and different moments happen and things align. Going back to my first point with Bayern right now I am completely all in with Bayern."
Milestone Achievements and Future Ambitions
Kane is the all-time top scorer for both Tottenham and England and recently became the quickest player this century to achieve 100 goals for a club participating in one of Europe's top five leagues, securing the milestone in just 104 games for Bayern.
However, a title had escaped him until he won the German title last season.
Kane reveals that he was not sure how he would respond after overcoming his trophy wait, but now feels it has made him eager for more success.
"When you win a title like I did last year, maybe it could be easy to go the other way and be like, 'OK I've done what I wanted to achieve'," he explained.
"But it's given me more drive to do more and be better. I think I've demonstrated that this year.
"I was intrigued in how I would feel after winning a trophy. Obviously there's still a lot more I want to attain in terms of other trophies and bigger trophies for sure.
"But I think it was always just, in my head, what I was going to feel like after I did achieve winning my first one.
"But for sure, I pushed myself the other way in terms of being even better, eating even cleaner, doing more gym. Just trying to get the most out of what I've got right now."
